My brothers and I are risk takers, there’s no doubt about that. But just how much risk we are willing to take and the manner we take them differ greatly.
.
In any endeavor:
.
I always calculate the benefits against the risks. Only when I see that the chances of success is greater than that of failure, and that I can afford the loss I’d incur should I fail, do I take a leap.
.
Mans always calculates the benefits against the risks and makes sure he wouldn’t lose anything (at least break even) before he takes a leap.
.
Ogie always employs Mans and me to calculate the benefits against the risks, and waits for our recommendations before he takes a leap..
.
Ryan takes a leap first. Only when he had landed roughly does he realize that there had been risk. Ouch! .

So essentially Ryan is the Risk taker.

Hello Benny!
Haha! Yeah. I have to agree. The three of us take some risks, but not before evaluating things.
Ryan? He just takes the leap! Unwise, if you ask me.
Ehé Buddy?
I’d go for Ryan: shoot first and explain later. You are like an 18th century queen hiding behind the walls of your castle while your lieutenants are getting slaughtered for your cause hehehe!
Seriously tho, there are things in life that need immediate decision. Leave no room for hesitation for opportunity may only come but once.
A moment’s action can leave a lifetime’s regret!
ALL our actions (even inaction) have their consequences. Spontaneous selfish ones (leaving no thought for what effects our acts have upon our fellow human beings) are the cause of evil in our world.
Indecision might be seen by some as a weakness. Consideration is a sure sign of strength.
Be considerate - but learn when and where to take the risk - no matter what the personal cost.
Just a few philosophies to add to the discussion

Hello Cliff and lovewillbringustogether!
There are times when decisions/actions need to be made quickly, and there are times when we need to take time before making decisions or acting on something.
It is unwise to act the same way under different circumstances, and it is foolhardy to jump without considering the consequences of our action.
To wait too long when the situation is urgent, to act unthinkingly in matters that need to be considered fully, and to not act when an action is needed — these are the things that often cause many of our regrets in life.
Thanks for your thoughts! They’re great.
[I realize I rephrased some of them, haha!].
